Sexual Health Counseling

A woman’s sexual function is an important part of her well-being and quality of life. At any age women may experience a change in sexual desire, difficulty with orgasm, pain with relations or other issues related to sexual function. Health problems, medications, stress, relationship issues, and aging issues may contribute to the problem. It is important to have a gynecologic examination, blood work and complete the Female Sexual Function (FSFI) questionnaire to properly assess the problem. Patients may schedule an appointment with Dr. Messore alone or with their partners for an initial evaluation and counseling session. If necessary an appropriate referral will be given to a Marriage, Family, or Sex Therapist.
